Newpark House, Foxrock, D18

South Dublin Construction Ltd. was involved in the renovation and

upgrade of a large existing house as well as new build construction.

The house was retained due to its art deco style and was designed

by Howard Cooke president of the RIAI in 1939.

The house contained many original features which were necessary

to be retained or, if replaced, matched identically such as

decorative coving and center pieces, timber panelling. Similar to the

Butterfield Avenue development the main refurbishment works were

sympathetic to the style of the house but using modern energy

efficient solutions for areas like insulation and central heating and

windows.
